About Seagull Mediations
Seagull Mediations was founded to bring a fresh, structured, and genuinely facilitative approach to commercial dispute resolution in Australia.
After more than 40 years working as a commercial litigator and representing parties in countless commercial mediations, predominantly in insurance‑based transport and property claims, it became clear that the traditional, adversarial “shuttle diplomacy” model often failed to help parties truly understand their risks, interests, and options.
Now, as an AMDRAS Accredited Mediator, I focus exclusively on helping parties resolve disputes through a structured facilitative model that is transparent, respectful, and far more effective.

Seagull Mediations offers transparent, competitive pricing designed to support efficient dispute resolution.
Half‑Day Mediation (up to 4 hours)
$3,500 + GST Includes:
- Pre‑mediation engagement
- Review of materials
- Mediation session
- Up to 1 hour post‑mediation follow‑up
Full‑Day Mediation (up to 10 hours)
$5,000 + GST Includes:
- Pre‑mediation engagement
- Review of materials
- Full‑day mediation
- Up to 2 hours post‑mediation follow‑up
Additional Time
$500 per hour + GST (only if required and agreed)
Travel
Travel costs may apply for in‑person mediations outside metropolitan areas. Subject to agreement upon appointment, I am prepared to travel to one day mediations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane at my own cost.
Online Mediations
No travel costs. Same rates as above.
